Attorney Marcus Walton
Marcus is a South Dakota native who was born and raised in the Sioux Falls area. Marcus earned his undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University and subsequently graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2008.
While in law school, Marcus was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and worked as an extern at the office of the Minnehaha County State's Attorney where he gained invaluable experience in navigating the criminal justice system.
After graduation, Marcus began his legal career at the Minnehaha County Public Defender's Office where he spent four years representing clients on a variety of charges ranging from misdemeanor DUI and Possession of Marijuana, and felonies including Rape and Manslaughter.
Marcus began his private practice in 2013 and has continued to passionately represent his clients and help them through the often difficult process of facing criminal charges.
